Cozy Cabin In The Woods Of Alaska

This cozy cabin building nestled in the woods in Houston, Alaska, will make you fall in love. With one bedroom and one bathroom, the lovely cabin building can accommodate up to 5 guests. The classic round log cabin building provides tourists a relaxing experience in the woods and close access to world-class salmon fishing. The cozy wood cabin building is only a short walk to a beautiful lake. On the way to or from Denali, the cozy wood cabin is a relaxing stop. Outdoor games such as badminton, use of the campfire pit for a cookout, or the grill for a barbecue will be available to you during your holiday stay. You are welcome to carry your skis, snowmachine, and ice fishing equipment during the winter months. An oil Toyo Stove heats the cozy cabin structure.

The wood cabin is a 16-by-20-foot open-air structure with a loft. The wood cabin is most comfortable for 2 to 3 adults and 2 children, but it can sleep up to 5 adults, but it will be a little cramped in the upstairs loft because adults cannot stand up. There is a ladder for children, but the loft has railings. There are no railings on the porch. The bedroom is compact and has a pillow-top queen-sized mattress as well as sliding barn-style doors for privacy. The loft ladder is held in the bedroom.

Since the wood cabin does not yet have internet access, you can prepare accordingly. On the outside porch, some guests might be able to communicate. The house is out of control for Wifi. In the main living area, there is a Lazy Boy sofa that pulls out to accommodate one guest. For kids or adults, the loft has thick pulled-out pads. There is a complete bathroom with a toilet and a tub. A microwave, small refrigerator, coffee maker, and two-burner cooktop are included in the kitchenette. Both linens and bedding are given. Outdoor games such as Bocce, Badminton, Kan Jam Frisbee, KUUB, and Molkky can be enjoyed during your vacation stay. A hammock has also been erected in the forest. An oil stove provides heat for the cabin.

Before their stay, guests of the wood cabin will obtain an access code. Self-check-in is available at the cabin house. Guests who stay in the cabin building have complete access to the cabin and the 1/2-acre lot. Guests staying in the wood cabin are welcome to carry their boats to use on the lake. There is only one public access point, which is accessed via a dirt road. Cross-country skiing, ice hockey, snowshoeing, and snow machining are all available. You’ll have the opportunity to see the northern lights during your wood cabin holiday. For a relaxing night, warm up with some Hot Cocoa offered by the host and watch a movie. Fat bikes, cross country skis, and snowshoes can be rented at Lifetime Adventures’ Government Peak, which is just 45 minutes from the cabin house. During the month of March, the wood cabin is near to the popular Iditarod Sled Dog Race start line in Willow.
