NCIS’ DiNozzo Actor Expresses Interest In Show Return
As a fan-favorite, Weatherly’s NCIS season 13 exit is arguably one of the most impactful departures on the series.
It left a big void in the police procedural, and CBS knew better than to find someone who could replace him, instead moving forward with narratives with only minimal references to him.
Years after his exit, however, it does seem like Weatherly is ready to revisit potentially his most iconic role, as he suggests in a brand-new social media post.
In his tweet, he casually drops the idea that he may be up for “another round of DiNozzo at some point.” Read Weatherly’s full post above.
Could DiNozzo Ever Return To NCIS?
Prior to Weatherly’s social media post, his former co-star, Sean Murray, shared an NCIS throwback image of Timothy McGee and DiNozzo.
This floats the idea that CBS is cooking up a special reunion for the characters, which would be a fitting surprise for NCIS season 20.
Weatherly reprising his role as DiNozzo would be a special treat for long-time fans of NCIS, as, since his departure at the end of season 13, he hasn’t made any guest appearances.
But, if CBS really wants to come up with a great surprise for viewers, they may also want to recruit Harmon as well, so Gibbs and DiNozzo can make their long-awaited reunion.
Perhaps Cote de Pablo as Ziva David can also join the fun, since she and DiNozzo rekindled their romance after they both left the service anyway.
Despite all of these teases, however, it’s best for fans to hold off on building their expectations about Weatherly’s appearance on NCIS season 20.
In any case, the good news is Weatherly at least is eager to return to the police procedural, which would make it easier to reincorporate him on the series.

He added to ET Online: ‘She’s a very warm person, and I think that child is lucky to have her for a mother.’

In her latest Instagram post, Lauren displayed a number of photos of her family members from over the years.

Grant and Nick were both involved in the showbiz industry; Lauren’s father was a screenwriter and professor, and her brother wrote for several TV shows.
The circumstances of their deaths are currently unclear, but it’s believed the actress lost her father first and then her brother.
Her post has since received over 4,000 likes from supportive fans, and several followers and famous friends took to the comments to send their condolences.
Fellow actress Maureen McCormick replied: “I am so very sorry Holly. Sending you and your family my deepest condolences.

Richie Rich could have been Richie Richer.
‘They pursued me for The Big Bang Theory,’ he revealed. ‘And I said, “Noooo”.
‘It was kind of like, the way the pitch was, ‘”Alright, these two astrophysicist nerds and a pretty girl lives with them. Yoinks!’ That was the pitch.
‘And I was like, ‘Yeah, I’m cool; thanks.’ And then they came back at me again, and I said, “No, no, no; again, flattered–but no.” Then they came back at me again, and even my manager was like twisting my arm.’
While he didn’t specify which role, it was clearly one of the leads considering the amount of money the actor believes he lost out on.
‘I’d have hundreds of millions of dollars right now if I did that gig,’ Culkin said.
But he added: ‘At the same time, I’d be bashing my head against the wall.’
The successful television producer Chuck Lorre has filed for divorce from his third wife, Arielle Lorre.
The Two And A Half Men creator, 69, is ending his union with Arielle following more than three years of marriage, according to documents obtained by TMZ on Friday.
The couple had been married since October 2018, and Lorre’s filing claims that they decided to end their marriage in May of this year, citing irreconcilable differences.
Papers indicate a pre-nuptial contract was signed prior to the couple walking down the aisle in 2018.
The couple have no children together, although The Big Bang Theory creator has two from his first marriage, Nicole, 38, an aspiring director and Asa, age unknown.
The agreement, according to papers filed on behalf of the Critics Choice Award winner, indicate he will pay spousal support as well as attorney fees.
Kaley expressed to the publication that, ‘when we were dating, Johnny was very worried about ruining the fans’ outlook on Leonard and Penny, because they weren’t even dating yet at that point in the series.’
She also added that initially, they each had different viewpoints on the situation at the beginning of their relationship.
‘He was so cerebral, and I’m like, ‘What?! Who f***in’ cares?! They’re gonna be fine!’ she stated.
The Flight Attendant actress explained to Vanity Fair that, ‘in hindsight, I kind of understood.’
‘He was very protective of what the fans would think, because we wanted them to want Leonard and Penny together so badly, that if they saw us together in real life, it could ruin the fantasy,’ Kaley stated.
Johnny also chimed in and stated, ‘And if we broke up, how would that affect their acceptance of the characters?’
He further added that, ‘at that time, it was complicated for me, and we didn’t talk about it. And Kaley was really respectful of the parameters that I had about it.’
Back in 2014, TBBT fans were not able to enjoy their favorite show in China.
Initially, The Bing Bang Theory enjoyed massive fan love in the eastern country, with the show eclipsing 1.3 billion views. But then things changed.
In 2014, China’s State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television (SARFT) suddenly banned The Big Bang Theory from the country’s largest streaming service, Sohu.
The decision left fans shocked and stunned, craving for an explanation. Well, according to SARFT, The Bing Bang Theory was “provoking troubles in society”.
The explanation naturally had some jaws dropped, with people accusing the Chinese government of not wanting “losers” to be “trendy” – and TBBT definitely made an input into making nerds and geeks, who are often considered “losers” for some reason, to feel less discriminated and mocked.
A 2013 survey by the very streaming service that delivered TBBT to the Chinese audience revealed that 80% of respondents aged 24 to 34 “self-identified as diaosi [a Chinese informal word for “loser”].” However, it seemed that people were proud of it and did not consider it to be a derogatory term.
Another theories implied that the ban was an attempt to limit the influence of the west in China.
However, the ban turned out to be short-lived. After a massive backlash and a rise in alternative ways to download banned content, the government moved to lift the ban in July 2015.
The Big Bang Theory returned to Sohu, to fans’ great joy, and became available for streaming once again. We do love a good happy ending!
Who Is Cote de Pablo?
She was born on November 12, 1979, in Santiago, Chile, to Francisco de Pablo and Maria Olga Fernandez. She has a younger sister, Andera, and a brother, Francisco, and immigrated to the United States at the age of 10.
What Is In A Name?
Though she’s known the world over as Cote, de Pablo’s real name is actually Maria Jose. According to the actress, “When I was in 5th grade, people couldn’t pronounce it, so I told them to call me Coty. Then I found out there was a beauty line called Coty, and I hated that! So I changed it to Cote. A lot of people don’t get it, but in Chile, if your name is María José, they call you Cote.”
Gotta Start Somewhere
At age 15, she began working in the entertainment industry. First, she hosted episodes of the talk show Control (1994-95) on Univision, alongside former Entertainment Tonight host Carlos Ponce. Then she landed roles in commercials, and she even had a short stint on the ABC daytime soap opera All My Children, reportedly alongside Rudolf Martin (ex-Anton), who would go on to later play her half-brother Ari on NCIS.
Songbird
Aside from her acting and producing endeavors, de Pablo is also known for her singing. Her rendition of Tom Waits’ Temptation is featured on NCIS: The Official Soundtrack and she can be heard on both the soundtrack for the feature film The 33 and Roberto Pitre’s CD Vivo en vida.
Accident Prone
The actress still has a scar on her left earlobe from the time she caught her earring on a pillowcase, but that’s far from the only injury she has sustained. During her tenure at NCIS – where she insisted on performing all her own stunts – de Pablo took a gun barrel to the face and she was nicked by a piece of shrapnel.
NCIS will return to CBS’s Tuesday night lineup on November 11, 2020. Check your local listings for airtimes.
