NCIS LA finale to welcome ‘special guest appearances’ confirms star

With just a few weeks left until the season 14 finale, NCIS LA fans can look forward to seeing beloved a character return to the screens.
CBS’ long-running drama NCIS Los Angeles will officially come to an end with the release of the season 14 finale. As the instalment draws closer to its conclusion, actress Medallion Rahimi confirmed there would be “some special guest appearances.”
After NCIS LA first premiered in 2009, the NCIS spin-off became a major hit and gained its own cult following of loyal fans.

The highly skilled agents often went undercover to apprehend dangerous criminals who threatened the nation’s security.

Despite the show’s success, viewers were devastated to learn NCIS LA could air its series finale on Sunday, May 14.

As the dreaded finale approaches, fans can look forward to a number of surprises which are sure to soften the bitter-sweet end.

Medallion Rahimi who currently stars as Special agent Fatima Namazi opened up about the show coming to an end.

She teased: “I think the audience will be really happy with the ending, the two-parter. It gives us more time to sort of tie up some loose ends.

“I think audiences will be really happy – and we have some special guest appearances that I can’t share.”

The actress told HELLO!: “I think they’ll be really excited.”

With the finale looming, fans have long speculated Hetty Lange (Linda Hunt) could make a highly-anticipated return.

The last time Hetty appeared on the show was during the franchise crossover back in January when she made a surprise cameo with a video call.

While this was a brief return, the last time Hetty appeared in person was in the season 13 premiere, titled Subject 17, which aired in October 2021.

Her return was also teased during a teaser clip which saw Hollace Kilbride (Gerald McRaney) and Agent Callen (Chris O’Donnell) receive a cryptic message.
As they discussed the mysterious message, Callen told Hollace Kilbride: “She [Hetty] wouldn’t have used J Wicks if it wasn’t important.”

An annoyed Kilbride responded: “If it were important she would have sent us more than two names and a random set of numbers.

“This reads less than an urgent message and more like a top-secret butt-dial.”

Callen argued: “It’s cryptic, even for Hetty,” to which Kilbride hit back: “If it’s even from Hetty.”
Although the reason for NCIS LA’s end has yet to be revealed, Amy Reichenbach, president of CBS Entertainment released a statement about the series finale.

Amy shared: “For 14 seasons, NCIS: Los Angeles has been a stalwart of our lineup with characters who were a joy to watch, it’s no surprise this show succeeded as a global franchise.

“From day one, the cast, producers and crew were amazing network/studios partners, and their teamwork, talent and spirit vividly came through on the screen.

“We are so grateful for the collaboration and remarkable run of these treasured members of our CBS family, and plan to give them the big sendoff they and their fans deserve.”
